Our client seeks and rewards individuals who are client service-oriented, analytically minded, and communicate productively to contribute to the continued success of the group.

The firm is seeking an Associate to support deal execution and client coverage across transactions and ongoing strategic initiatives. Given the firm operates as a merchant bank, you will have the unique opportunity to work on both sell-side and buy-side transactions at the premier player in the hospitality space. They currently have 15+ live deals, and you will be working across all stages of execution and engaging directly with clients.

 

About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth fundamental quantitative and qualitative company, market and sector analysis.
  • Conduct company, industry, and market analysis to support live transactions and pitching efforts.
  • Prepare client materials, including pitch books and investor presentations.
  • Support deal execution across M&A and capital markets transactions, managing timelines, deliverables, and diligence workflows.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and diligence sessions, contributing to strategic discussions.
  • Monitor sector trends and prepare periodic market updates to inform client coverage and origination efforts.
  • Work closely with senior deal team members to transaction structuring.
  • Supervise and provide mentorship to analysts.


About Desired Background:

  • 3-5 years of experience in M&A and/or capital markets transactional deal experience.
  • Soft skills to manage analysts and to work hands on with senior executive clients.
  • History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
  • University degree, Bachelors or foreign equivalent.
  • Strong financial modelling skills.
  • Solid understanding of business and corporate finance principles.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for hospitality /RE sectors.
  • You must have the right to work in London - they are not sponsoring Visas.
