The firm's Capital Markets practice focuses on serving private equity and private company relationships with full service advisory and execution of financing transactions to facilitate acquisitions, growth capital, structured capital, and internal recapitalizations.

The firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate / experienced Analyst to join the Debt Capital Markets team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting capital raising efforts, evaluating financing alternatives, and executing transactions. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

 

About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of debt and minority equity financing mandates, including lender/investor outreach, diligence, documentation, and closing.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate capital structures, credit metrics, and financing options.
  • Conduct market research on lending institutions, private credit funds, equity investors, and transaction comparables to inform client recommendations.
  • Participate in drafting and reviewing client presentations and pitch materials; engage directly with clients and financing counterparties as experience grows.
  • Work closely with industry coverage teams and senior bankers to deliver holistic advisory services.
  • Support senior bankers in marketing, pipeline management, and development of relationships with financing sources.
  • Support credit underwriting and debt structuring analysis, assessing leverage, coverage ratios, and cash flow impacts to evaluate financing alternatives.


Desired Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated execution experience.
  • 2+ years of experience at a top private credit firm.
  • Understand debt and equity structures (senior, unitranche, mezzanine, structured equity)
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and Excel/PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex financial concepts for clients.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
