About the firm: 

Good Day Farm is a high growth cannabis brand in the Southeast US. The core of their mission is to deliver high quality cannabis products while supporting and educating communities on its medicinal benefits. Their leadership team is composed of seasoned executives from the cannabis world and established professionals from other industries. The company is exceptionally well funded through cash equity and plans to go public in the coming years. They are looking for the best, brightest, and most determined individuals in the industry to join their team at this pivotal moment in history: the end of cannabis prohibition in the United States. 

About the role: 

The Senior Analyst will play a role in driving revenue, market share, margins and optimizing cannabis production/product allocation by performing quantitative analyses, building financial models, and communicating recommendations to key stakeholder groups at the company. The Senior Analyst will translate data driven insights into recommendations to groups such as sales, operations, and finance. 

This person will influence important decisions at one of the fastest growing and leading cannabis companies. The decisions we make can have long-lasting effects on the industry for years to come. You will work alongside and be supported by a team that is determined to win. 

This individual will work closely with the Chief Investment Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Director of Data & Analytics in Little Rock, Arkansas.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Obtain data and perform quantitative analyses 
  • Own and provide recommendations to key stakeholders 
  • Write reports to drive action through shared insights 
  • Complete ad-hoc projects and analyses to support data-driven decision-making 
  • Help drive efficiencies and sales among cannabis companies and product lines 
  • Coordinate and communicate between departments to drive outcomes 

 

 

Background & Proficiency: 

  • 2-5 years of experience as an Equity Research Analyst or Quantitative Analyst at an investment bank, hedge fund, or proprietary trading firm is desirable, OR 
  • 2+ years as an investment banking analyst 
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or technical field preferred (e.g. Operations Research, (Applied) Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics) 
  • Strong ability to perform business and sales analytics 
  • Highly skilled in Excel 
  • Proficient in data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
