Investment banking or similar financial experience: 3+ years for associate; 5-8 years for VP

  • Accounting knowledge
  • Accounting knowledge
  • Skilled at financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis
  • Experience preparing financial presentation materials such as CIMs
  • General knowledge of securities and M&A markets — acquisitions, mergers, debt, equity, converts, etc.
  • Confidence and poise, ability to confidently and effectively present to C-level executives
  • Steel, metals, mining, and/or industrials experience
  • Ideally, based in South Florida, but the position can be REMOTE

 

Worth mentioning:

  • The financial and interpersonal skills are more important than the metals sector or industrial experience.
  • The opportunity is far more "execution" than “pitching” — team currently has 11 live transactions today for the indivdual(s) to work on.
  • “The sky is the limit”, meaning no-mater the level, the individual will not be held back by “Analysts / Associates /VP's don’t do that” — if the individual has the confidence and poise to pitch a CEO, they will pitch a CEO. If they originate business, they will get a cut.
