In addition to investment and portfolio management services, the firm offers an array of bespoke services, including tax advisory, financial planning, wealth transfer and succession, CFO services, cyber advisory, and the full suite of family office services.

About the role:

The Managing Director, Lead Relationship Executive will collaborate with a team of Relationship Managers and client service professionals to oversee all aspects of delivering best in class wealth management to our esteemed clients. The Lead Relationship Manager/Executive will continuously source new and deepen existing client relationships, serving as the quarterback across our broad suite of services, as well as third party service providers. By delivering a highly customized experience that exceeds clients’ expectations, the Lead Relationship Executive will retain, grow and develop profitable client relationships in the Ultra High Net Worth (“UHNW") and High Net Worth (CHNW") marketplace. He/she will be ultimately responsible for regular client communication as well as Managing all aspects of the quality and timeliness of client deliverables, including investment reports, financial plans and statements, and tax related updates.

 

The successful candidate will operate within an autonomous and entrepreneurial framework Supported by an integrated team of service professionals. The candidate should possess strong leadership and communication skills and a proven ability to offer excellent service to demanding clients, while working collaboratively with colleagues across a range of disciplines.

 

Beyond specific client service responsibilities, the candidate will use his/her networks within the ultra- high net worth market to develop centers of influence and prospective clients for our broad platform of services. He/she will work closely with other team members in support of the overall effort to grow our client base and expand our business.

Your Impact:

·        Serving as Client Development Officer and account leader for UHNW and HNW relationships — coordinating comprehensive and integrated wealth management services delivery to this select group of clients

·        Driving revenue and profitability growth by smart and targeted growth of assets under advisement (AUA) and assets under management (AUM)

·        Demonstrating a strong, current and comprehensive understanding of wealth management matters (including applicable tax rules and regulatory issues) to UHNW and HNW clients, colleagues and centers of influence / referral sources

·        Counseling clients on and facilitating execution of their overall wealth management plan, including, but not limited to investment strategy, cash flow forecasting and management, and estate, wealth transfer and tax planning

·        Interfacing actively with both existing clients, prospective clients and referral sources (COls) to identify business development opportunities across service lines and meet revenue growth goals, driving or participating in the prospecting process as needed

·        Participating in family office and wealth management services related seminars/presentations for purposes of professional development, business development and building the brand

·        Leading, mentoring, motivating and developing professionals on the team to achieve target business objectives and individual goals

·        Leading and/or working closely with client service teams and internal operations to effectively manage Client relationships and provide our integrated wealth management services

·        Assuming responsibility for complex and sensitive client and account activities with the utmost discretion and respect for privacy

·        Conducting quarterly and annual relationship and/or services reviews with each client consistent with client service guidelines

·        Contributing thought leadership that focuses on identifying, researching, and delivering cutting edge and innovative wealth management strategies and client solutions to internal clients, external clients and centers of influence

·        Representing the brand in industry forums and meetings

 

What You’ll Offer:

·        15 to 20+ years of experience sourcing and onboarding large and complex client relationships and delivering holistic, consultative wealth planning and investment advice and/or portfolio management for UHNW and HNW families and/or large institutional asset pools (i.e. endowments, foundations, pension plans)

·        Demonstrated experience in guiding sophisticated clients through the development of their wealth management plan and implementation of their investment, tax and estate planning Strategies

·        In-depth understanding of one or more of the following: estate planning, tax planning, financial planning, financial markets / investment strategy, and/or UHNW and HNW family office operations

·        Proficiency with asset allocation, financial planning and tax planning concepts

·        Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

·        Business growth and development orientation with related skills and record of accomplishment

·        Bachelor's degree

 

We’d Love to see:

·        Master's degree, CFA or similar designation

·        Experience at non-bank wealth management firms (i.e. multi-family office, single family office or Registered Investment Advisor who serves individual clients of significant wealth)

·        Experience working with clients in an “open-architecture” investment environment
