The firm invests across the credit market, with teams in Senior Loans, CLOs, Special Situations, Structured Credit, and Multi-Strategy Credit. We are expanding into the Credit Secondaries space to unlock additional value in the credit market and deliver enhanced returns for our investors.
The Opportunity:
The firm is seeking a Head of Credit Secondaries to lead a dedicated secondaries platform. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing strategy development, investment sourcing, and managing a team that can deliver alpha across a diverse set of credit secondary opportunities. This is an opportunity to build and scale a differentiated business line with the resources of a rapidly growing credit investment manager. We are open to bringing a small team alongside the head or can build out beneath this person once onboarded.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute the firm’s Credit Secondaries strategy in alignment with the firm’s broader objectives.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with private credit managers, investors, and intermediaries.
· Oversee the sourcing and screening process for transaction opportunities.
· Lead underwriting, diligence, structuring, and negotiation of complex credit secondary transactions.
· Oversee ongoing monitoring, valuation, and risk management of the team’s existing positions.
· Prepare investor presentations and other materials for reporting purposes and diligence meetings.
· Stay up to date on macro and sector-specific trends to position the team for long-term success.
Qualifications:
· 10-20 years of experience in private credit, structured credit, secondary investing, or a related field.
· Minimum 3 years of hands-on team management experience.
· Strong network of GP, LP, and intermediary relationships in the private credit space.
· Advanced credit underwriting, modeling, and negotiation skills.
· Strong track record in sourcing, structuring, and closing transactions in the credit space.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
