As Head of VIP Sales, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the full sales cycle for an early stage, high-growth startup as well as building and managing a pipeline of VIP customers, helping market, sell, and develop relationships among UHNW individuals, family office types, and elite entrepreneurs.
You will hold a key role in formulating company strategy and your sales expertise will be highly relied upon. You'll have the chance to shape product direction, leaving a significant impact on VIP customers. As the head of the sales organization, the culture and tone of the organization for future years will be influenced by your leadership.
What You’ll Do
➔ Customers: Identify, establish and maintain robust relationships with new and existing high-value VIP customers to better cater to their needs
➔ Lead and Manage: Lead, build, and train, and a high-performing VIP sales team to demonstrate repeatability, efficiency, and scalability
➔ Process: Ensure that the team is equipped with the optimal sales tool suite. Coach team members on process and tools, and reinforce best-in-class sales execution
➔ Strategy and Playbook: Drive and refine a successful process and playbook, blending sales best practices with internal insights, alongside other revenue leaders.
➔ Visibility: Effectively communicate key successes, challenges, pipeline and forecasts to team.
➔ Culture: Create a culture of winning, continuous improvement, and a “hive mind” low-ego collaborative approach where learnings quickly spread throughout the team.
What You Bring
➔ Minimum 5 years (more like 15 years) developing the sales function from the early stages of a startup through rapid expansion. Had responsibility for both sales development and revenue generation
➔ The hunger and desire to build again. No matter how senior, you’re eager to get your hands dirty, tackle a new challenge, and make an impact
➔ Strong orientation towards metrics with a proven methodology for setting attainable yet ambitious targets, routinely assessing productivity/progress, and making real-time adjustments
➔ Proficiency in anticipating VIP and UHNW customer needs and desires
➔ Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills

➔ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills coupled with interpersonal abilities
